Dot Torture Drill Instructions
Items Needed
- Firearm of choice
- 50 rounds of ammunition
- Dot Torture Targets
First Dot Instructions
- Draw and fire one string of 5 rounds as accurately as possible
- Ideally it should be one hole
- Rounds required: 5
Second Dot Instructions
- Draw and fire 1 round
- Holster, then repeat four more times
- Rounds required: 5
Third and Fourth Dot Instructions
- Draw and fire 1 round on Dot 3 and then 1 round on Dot 4
- Holster, then repeat three more times
- Rounds required: 8
Fifth Dot Instructions
- Draw and fire a string of 5 rounds using only your strong (dominant) hand
- Rounds required: 5
Sixth and Seventh Dot Instructions
- Draw and fire 2 rounds on Dot 6, then 2 rounds on Dot 7
- Holster, then repeat four more times
- Rounds Required: 16
Eighth Dot Instructions
- From either the ready or retention position, fire five rounds using only your support (weak) hand
- Rounds required: 5
Ninth and Tenth Dot Instructions
- Draw and fire 1 round on Dot 9, then perform a speed reload and fire 1 round on Dot 10
- Holster, then repeat three times
- Rounds required: 6
